In 2013, I created a Google Street View virtual tour at Restaurant Centennial in Aalsmeer. The restaurant is located beneath Hotel Chariot and offers its guests a warm and atmospheric hospitality experience.
Last month, we returned after five years to create a new series of photographs. It is rewarding to see that a venue which was already thoughtfully designed at the time has, after a transformation, once again regained its atmosphere and sense of class. It was a pleasure to photograph this restaurant again. I appreciate that the owner kept my contact details all those years and reached out for a new photo session. This time, I won’t wait as long before returning — I’ll be back soon to enjoy a meal.
