In 2011 I began working as a real estate photographer, later adding videography and measurements services. Around 2013, in the final stages of the financial crisis, agents and sellers were genuinely interested in my craft and its contribution to stronger property presentations. The market was sluggish and every detail mattered, and craftsmanship made the difference.
Between 2017 and 2021, the housing market operated at full speed. Properties often sold within days, and the focus shifted from quality to speed. While professional photography and video remained important, attention to presentation sometimes took a back seat. In a booming market, “good enough” was often sufficient.
Since 2022, the market has become more selective. Properties stay on the market longer, buyers compare more carefully, and presentation once again plays a decisive role. This shift has renewed the importance of thoughtful, high-quality visual content. Well-presented properties stand out, build trust, and attract the right audience.
Markets change, but one principle remains: strong presentation supports better decisions. In today’s climate, success requires attention to detail, consistency, and a clear visual story. Professional photography, video, and floor plans are no longer extras—they are essential tools in positioning a property effectively.
I work with real estate professionals who recognize this shift and want to present properties with clarity and conviction. If that sounds familiar, I’d be glad to explore how we can work together.
