For Eetcafé ’t Pakhuis, I created a professional photo series with a custom homepage reel, giving the business strong visuals for both everyday marketing and its online first impression. All of this created during one compact content creation session on location.
Rather than planning a full production day, we chose a focused and efficient approach. In one compact session, I photographed the food, interior and atmosphere of the restaurant, while also capturing video footage of dishes being prepared and served, combined with subtle moments featuring the owners.
The goal was to present Eetcafé ’t Pakhuis as more than just a menu. The photography needed to show the dishes, the interior and the overall atmosphere, while the video was created specifically as a homepage reel.
That reel was not intended as general social content, but as a visual introduction to the restaurant on the website. Together, the photos and video gave the business two clear assets: a versatile image library and a stronger homepage experience.

In one compact session, we created:
This created a content set that feels both practical and brand-driven.

For hospitality businesses, content creation needs to fit around daily operations. That is why I often work with a compact photo and video session: a focused production approach that delivers professional results without requiring a full-day shoot.
For this project, the output was clearly defined in advance: photography for broader marketing use, and video footage for a dedicated homepage reel. That clarity made it possible to work efficiently on location and create a versatile content package with a lower investment than a full production day.
Photography and video each serve a different purpose. The photography gives the restaurant flexible content for the website, social media and promotion. The homepage reel adds something else: it helps visitors immediately feel the atmosphere of the restaurant when they land on the site.
That combination makes the online presentation stronger and more complete. The stills build a usable content library, while the reel adds movement, mood and identity to the brand.
Not every restaurant needs a large-scale production. A compact session is often the smarter option: efficient, practical and easier to plan around service and prep time.
For Eetcafé ’t Pakhuis, this approach made it possible to create both a professional photo series and a custom homepage reel in one session, without the time and cost of a full shoot day.
If you run a restaurant, café or hospitality concept and want stronger visual content for your business, a compact session can be an efficient way to create both a professional photo series and a custom homepage reel.
