Of course, I also know stories of people who fall in love with a wooden floor—and it doesn’t always have to be a new one. For marketing and promotional purposes, I photographed and filmed the entire renovation process of this oak herringbone floor.
The Kompastoren in Mijdrecht is a unique location featuring modern workspaces and meeting facilities. The former water tower was built in 1937 and supplied clean drinking water to Mijdrecht, Wilnis, and Vinkeveen for nearly 70 years. Today, a diverse group of entrepreneurs has taken up residence there. Here, you can view a selection of photographs documenting the ten-year journey of its redevelopment and adaptive reuse.
This Irish pub is special for several reasons. First of all, the (large) basement was only recently added to the house.
