Many aspects were considered during the renovation of this farmhouse, including how modern finishes could be combined with warmth and atmosphere. Together with the tiled floors, this created an acoustic challenge. For Bright Acoustics, I photographed the acoustic spray ceiling and the micro-perforated roof panels.

My client uses professional photographs of this project during sales and advisory meetings with new clients. I also created the series of overview and detail photographs for use as references on the website.

Seamless acoustic spray ceiling

A seamless acoustic spray ceiling was installed in the hallway, living room and part of the kitchen. Besides creating an attractive visual connection between these spaces, it reduces reverberation throughout the farmhouse. This greatly improves both the atmosphere and speech intelligibility.

Acoustic roof panels with a wood look and micro-perforation

The roof panels in this open-plan kitchen were finished with acoustic panels. They feature a printed wood-strip pattern to create a warm appearance. Micro-perforations combined with PET felt help improve the acoustics in the open kitchen and living area.
