For Eetcafé 't Pakhuis I made dishes, atmosphere and a homepage reel in one compact session. Not built for social, but as the first impression on the website — photo and video by the same maker, on the same day.
For restaurants, cafés and hotels I prefer to work compactly: dishes and interior and moving images, captured in a single session. For the kitchen that saves time; for the owner it cuts decision moments.
We agree in advance what the images need to do. Photos for the menu and social call for something different from a reel that opens the homepage. I often combine food, atmosphere and short owner portraits — natural, without direction that disrupts service.
For Eetcafé 't Pakhuis we chose a single compact session. I photographed dishes inside the interior, filmed preparation and serving, and placed the owners subtly in frame for recognisability.
The reel was made for the website homepage, not for social where the rules are different. That saved editing time afterwards and gave the owners a clear first impression online.
